MYFOXCHATTANOOGA - Just one question for you: Are you smart enough to go to Pigeon Forge? We sure hope so.  FOX61 is sending ten people on a getaway to the Smoky Mountains.  Each winner will stay two nights in Sunset Cottage. You can hang out at such attractions as Wonder Works, Country Tonite Theater or Tennessee Shindig.  Check out the list below for all the prizes and complete rules.  Think of all the fun you could have in Pigeon Forge this holiday season.  Please note: All winners must be at least 25 years old.

So, how do you win all this?  Just watch Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader? weeknights between 6 and 7pm, beginning November 9th.  We'll give you the "Are You Smart Enough To Go To Pigeon Forge?" trivia question for the night.  When  you get the answer, come back here and fill out the online entry form.  Every night, we'll pick one winner from all eligible entries. Each winner is eligible to win only once.

2009 FOX61 Are You Smart Enough To Go To Pigeon Forge? Contest
Contest Execution Dates Monday November 9th, through Friday November 20th, 2009

Official Contest Rules

1. How to enter: To enter the contest eligible contestants watch FOX61 WDSI weeknights beginning Monday November 9th, 2009 from 6PM to 7PM during Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?. During a commercial break a 20 second trivia question will appear. Viewers then must log on to www.myfoxchattanooga.com and supply the correct answer to that night’s trivia. Contestants may enter more than one night’s trivia, but are only allowed to win one prize out of the ten nights during the execution period. FOX61 WDSI TV assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected entries or human errors that may occur. All entries become the property of FOX61 WDSI TV and will not be returned.

2. Selection of Winners: Eligible contestants who answer the trivia question correctly will be considered a qualifier for that night. A random drawing via computer will determine that night’s winner. Winner must execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability Release, and Public Release and any other document that FOX61 WDSI TV may require. Failure to execute any required documentation shall result in immediate forfeiture of the prize and the prize will transfer to the runner-up. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

3. Prizes: 10 Total prizes will be awarded in this contest in one of the following packages:

Two night stay for 4 at Sunset Cottage: Winners of this prize must be 25 years old or older. $300 Credit Card Damage Deposit required. Proof of age will be required upon check-in. ($300 value). Tickets for 4 to the Smith Family Theater ($100 value). Tickets for 4 to Wonder Works ($100 value). Total value for this prize package is $500

Two night stay for 4 at Sunset Cottage: Winners of this prize must be 25 years old or older. $300 Credit Card Damage Deposit required. Proof of age will be required upon check-in. ($300 value). Tickets for 4 to Country Tonite Theatre ($111 value. Tickets for 4 to Wonder Works ($100 value). Total value for this prize package is $511

Two night stay for 4 at Sunset Cottage: Winners of this prize must be 25 years old or older. $300 Credit Card Damage Deposit required. Proof of age will be required upon check-in. ($300 value). Certificate for 4 to Tennessee Shindig ($80 value). Tickets for 4 to Wonder Works ($100 value). Total value for this prize package is $480.

**All tickets, certificates, and over night stay are subject to approval by provider, blackout dates may apply. WDSI FOX61 will randomly assign packages for winners**.


No substitution, transfer, or assignment of any prizes is permitted other than a substitution by FOX61 WDSI TV. Prizes can not be exchanged or redeemed for cash. Some restrictions apply.

4. Eligibility: This contest is open to legal residents of the United States. To be eligible, a valid entry must be submitted the day of the contest. A valid entry must include all information required on the entry form. This contest is void where prohibited by law. Employees

of FOX61 WDSI TV and its respective affiliates, their respective immediate family members, and personnel of other TV and radio stations whose broadcast signals are received in the Chattanooga Tennessee designated market are not eligible to enter or win. You must be a legal resident of the United States, and 18 years or older to participate except for the Sunset Cottage prize; winner must be 25 years old.

You are ineligible if you, or any member of your immediate family and/or anyone living in your household, is an employee, officer, director, agent and/or representative of Fox Broadcasting Company, Fox Interactive Media, Inc., New Age Media of Tennessee, MPS Media, or personnel of any other media in the Chattanooga DMA, production personnel for the television program, participating television stations, advertising agencies, corporate sponsors or any person or entity connected with the production, administration or judging of the auditions, or any of the parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents or representatives of any of the foregoing entities.


General Conditions: Contest entrants agree to be bound by the terms of these official rules and by the decisions of FOX61 WDSI TV, which are final and binding on all matters pertaining to this contest. This contest is governed by the laws of the United States. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. All taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Prizes will be awarded and winners will be notified at the end of the contest. The inability to notify or contact a winner, the non responsiveness of a winner, or the winner’s failure to accept the prize may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner, assuming FOX61 WDSI TV has, in its sole discretion, sufficient time to select an alternate winner. Winners will be required to pick up prizes at FOX61 WDSI or on location. By entering, each entrant concedes to and grants FOX61 WDSI the right to use, publish or broadcast, without additional compensation, the entrant’s voice, name and likeness online, in print, via broadcast and in any other media in connection with the contest. FOX61 WDSI TV makes no warranty, representation, or agreement that any videotape, audiotape, or likeness of a winner will be broadcast or other wise used in any manner. By entering, participants, on their own behalf and on behalf of their family members, dependents, friends, relatives, heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, release and hold harmless FOX61 WDSI TV, FOX Broadcasting Company, News America, Inc., FOX Interactive Media, their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees and assignees of each its affiliates, directors, officers, stockholders, employees and agents from any and all liability or any injuries, loss or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with this contest or any prize won.


Disqualifications: We reserve the right to disqualify and/or exclude, in our sole and absolute discretion, any individual from the performance for any reason or for no reason at all, including without limitation, violation of any portion of these rules, or tampering with the entry process or the audition process. We also reserve the right to change the rules and procedures at any time. Any participant found guilty of tampering with the voting process is subject to legal action.
