Chattanooga's mayor and police chief want to shut down a teen club they say creates a violent environment. Nine people were shot outside Club Fathom early Christmas morning and now the club is going ahead with plans for a New Year's Eve party, but not if Mayor Ron Littlefield gets his way. Club Fathom promotes itself as alcohol-free, smoke-free and Christian. But you can't ignore the violence there over the years: assaults, shootings and stabbings. City leaders want to shut it down as they continue to look for answers to Chattanooga's youth violence and gang problem.
