Mosaic Church will be moving from their Market Street location by the end of this month. The move comes after recent backlash from the city and the Chattanooga Police Department regarding the Christmas party held at Mosaic's Club Fathom.  After the party ended, 9 people were shot in what police called a gang related shooting. A temporary restraining order was issued to Mosaic, restricting its occupancy to just 100 people and keeping them from holding a planned New Years Eve party. Right now its not clear if the move today  is voluntary or in response to an eviction notice.
