CHATTANOOGA, TN -

You can help spread awareness about human trafficking in the Tennessee Valley. The Greater Chattanooga Coalition Against Human Trafficking has joined together with other organizations to create a video and bring attention to the issue. Human trafficking involves an act of recruiting, transporting or harboring a person through the use of force or coercion for the purpose of exploiting them for sex. If you'd like to help, wear white this Wednesday, January 11th. That's Human Trafficking Awareness Day. That day you can also attend an informational event from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. in jury assembly room 305 of the Hamilton County City Court Building.
