Occupy Chattanooga Plans on Staying Put

Posted: Updated:
CHATTANOOGA, TN -

Monday was supposed to be the day when occupy Chattanooga protesters would possibly leave the courthouse lawn, that is until protesters explained that the email announcing that they would leave was a fake. Now the group has confirmed that a Washington D.C. based group will be representing them in federal court. Hamilton County filed a federal lawsuit, claiming that the group is violating rules about camping out on the courthouse lawn. A lawyer from the D.C. group says that he expects they will file a motion to dismiss the lawsuit soon. Until then Occupy Chattanooga will stay put.
