In a strange twist, Chattanooga's Fire Chief has fired a Soddy Daisy Police Officer. Red Bank police arrested 22-year-old Officer Tyler Stout, early Sunday morning, after they say he crashed his car on Highway 27. Red Bank officers say Stout smelled of alcohol, but he refused to take sobriety and blood alcohol tests. Police say Stout admitted to drinking several pints of beer and two shots of liquor before crashing.
