A decision about Cleveland's nickname has been put on the back burner. Earlier this week, city council members couldn't decide on which suggested nickname they liked better "The City of Spirit" or "A City with Hometown Feel and Global Appeal." Council members say they didn't vote, because Mayor Tom Rowland wasn't at the meeting. Rowland spoke about the slogan at his State of the City address. He did an impromptu straw poll to see which name Kiwanis members preferred.
