Parents, police and politicians came together for a common cause - gangs in Hamilton County schools. The small group of parents who organized Monday night's meeting want to change the school system's policy on students who are known gang members. Last week, the new group Hamilton County Parents for Safe Education, proposed to change the school system's zero tolerance policy. They wanted students who are proven gang members to get kicked out of school. Monday's meeting was to get feedback on that idea from other parents, the school system and law enforcement.
