Lookout Valley Welcome New Firehouse

Chattanooga -

People living in one area now have more fire protection. The Chattanooga Fire Department opened its newest fire station, Station 3, in Lookout Valley. As part of the ceremony, Quint 3 drove through fire scene tape that's normally used at real fire scenes. Chief Randy Parker says Station 3 will be staffed with 15 firefighters working on three shifts. The city hopes to get the new station LEED certified soon.
