A law that seeks to take the word gay out of Tennessee elementary and middle schools is one step closer to a vote. The proposal, dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" bill, passed the House Education Subcommittee Wednesday. It's making progress, but there's still a lot of backlash about the law that would limit all sexually related instruction to "natural human reproduction science" in kindergarten through eighth grade.
